Research Interests:
Damla Turgut is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of University of Central Florida. She received her BS, MS, and PhD degrees from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include wireless networking and mobile computing, wireless communication and coordination in embodied agents, and urban sensing. Dr. Turgut has published over five dozens of refereed technical papers and book chapters. Dr. Turgut serves as a member of the editorial board and of the technical program committee of ACM and IEEE journals and international conferences. She is a member of IEEE, member of the ACM, and the Upsilon Pi Epsilon honorary society.
