- Theory of Complex Systems, Complexity Theory and Network Science
- Network science is a new and emerging scientific discipline that examines the interconnections among diverse physical, informational, biological, cognitive, and social networks. This field of science seeks to discover common principles, algorithms and tools that govern network behavior.
- We would like to answer the following questions: Can we use simple models to describe the structures, functions, behaviors of complex biological systems? If yes, how? Can we crack the code of biological systems or even the universe?
- Unified theory for matter, energy, and information, where the cyberspace meets the physical world.
- Computational complexity theory
- Logic and plausible reasoning (deductive, inductive, abductive, and transductive reasoning)
- Smart grid and power grid (including renewable energy)
