Research Interests:

Dr. Ordonez joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in August 2003, after receiving his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. Dr. Ordonez leads the thermal management group at the Center for Advanced Power Systems. He teaches courses in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and propulsion. His research interests include the thermodynamic optimization of advanced energy systems, constructal theory, solar-thermal energy systems, poly-generation, fuel cells, biomass, hybrid power generation, and thermal management.
